What the role entails

Some of the key responsibilities of our Group Finance Accountant will be:

Lead the preparation and consolidation of statutory and management accounts across the group, ensuring timely and accurate group financial statements in line with applicable standards.
Maintain, optimize, and act as the primary user of the group’s consolidation tool, supporting accurate and efficient consolidation processes across subsidiaries.
Prepare, analyze, and present monthly group financial reports, providing actionable insights for management while ensuring consistency across entities.
Act as a key contributor in harmonizing group-wide accounting and reporting processes, implementing best practices, and improving controls.
Take full ownership of leading the audit process for the individual entities within their ownership, while also overseeing the audit of the consolidated annual report.
Mentor and guide accounting staff across entities, ensuring high-quality output and knowledge transfer.
Serve as the senior accounting expert for multiple entities, taking full ownership of day-to-day bookkeeping, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closing processes and payroll.
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance in all accounting records, proactively identifying and resolving complex discrepancies.
Support external audits as a senior point of contact, preparing documentation and liaising with auditors to ensure smooth audit execution.

What we ask of you

Proven experience in consolidation and group reporting
Proficiency in accounting software and consolidation tools
Ability to identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies independently
Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy
Strong time management and ability to meet strict deadlines
Team player with great communication skills
High level of accountability and ownership of tasks and deliverables
Independent and proactive working style, with minimal supervision required
Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic, international environment
Enjoy working in fully remote
Strong knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS and Swedish GAAP K3)
Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
Familiarity with audit processes and statutory reporting requirements
Swedish and English language proficiency

What is a plus:

Experience with ERP systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics) and consolidations tool
Previous involvement in system implementation or process automation projects
Familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, QuickSight)
Professional accounting qualification
