Key responsibilities

Conducting consultations with patients to assess their surgical needs and develop treatment plans
Performing a wide range of laparoscopic surgical procedures with precision and care
Utilizing advanced laparoscopic techniques for minimally invasive surgeries
Providing preoperative and postoperative care to patients monitoring their progress closely
Collaborating with medical and surgical teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
Participating in multidisciplinary meetings to discuss complex cases and treatment strategies
Supervising and guiding junior medical staff and surgical teams in laparoscopic procedures
Staying updated on the latest advancements in laparoscopic surgery and implementing best practices
Maintaining accurate patient records and documenting all surgical procedures
Adhering to all medical and ethical standards in patient care and surgery
Participating in research and academic activities to contribute to the advancement of surgical knowledge
Assisting in the development of surgical protocols and quality improvement initiatives
Participating in oncall rotations for emergency surgical cases
Conducting educational sessions for medical students and residents
Engaging in community outreach and health education programs

Required qualifications

Medical degree from an accredited institution
Board certification in General Surgery
Fellowship training in laparoscopic surgery
Valid medical license to practice as a surgeon
Proven experience as a General Surgeon with expertise in laparoscopic procedures
Excellent diagnostic and surgical skills
Strong knowledge of laparoscopic equipment and technology
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
