About the Role
As an Analytics Lead within the Business Development Team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the Group’s analytics strategy and fostering data-driven decision-making across our global organization. The Business Development team helps the organization deliver on its aggressive growth objectives, and has strong backing by the CEO. Your work will directly support the company’s strategic growth initiatives and ensure we maintain a competitive edge in a data-driven world.

Key Responsibilities

Integration of Subsidiaries into the Analytics Platform (Power BI)

Design and implement robust ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines to integrate data from diverse source systems into the Group’s analytics platform.
Integrating group subsidiaries—both existing and newly acquired—into the Group’s central analytics platform (Power BI).
Collaborate with local teams across subsidiaries to understand their data systems, processes, and needs.
Ensure data consistency, quality, and security throughout the integration process
Develop standardized data models to harmonize information from various sources

End-to-end responsibility for driving the Group Analytics Agenda

Work closely with group stakeholders to identify data requirements, and deliver actionable insights
Responsibility for execution and planning of long-term analytics platform development
Partner with group stakeholders to ensure analytics initiatives align with overall business objectives
Optimize the analytics platform for scalability and efficiency to support the growing demands of the organization

Spearhead a Data-Driven Culture

Provide training and support to teams across the Group to foster adoption of the analytics platform
Act as a thought leader, sharing best practices and insights to enhance data utilization across the organization

What We’re Looking For

Technical Expertise : Strong proficiency in data analytics tools and frameworks, such as SQL, Python, and ETL technologies. Experience with PowerBI Azure Databricks, Azure data factory and Azure data lake storage is highly desirable
Problem-Solving Skills : Ability to analyze complex data systems, identify challenges, and propose effective solutions
Education : A degree in Computer Science, Information systems, Industrial engineering and management, Business administration, or a related field
Experience: 2-5 years of relevant work experience, e.g. data engineering or business intelligence role
Ambition: Willingness to take end-to-end ownership of the Hydroscand Group Analytics Platform, and drive progress independently
