Manager IT Business Applications & ERP to Barnes FMC

Are you ready to take the next step in your career? Force Motion and Control is seeking a dynamic leader to join our global IT team. In this newly created key role, you will drive our digital architecture strategy and oversee the development of internal applications to enhance efficiency.

As IT Business Applications & ERP Manager you will oversee applications development activities including integrations and also be responsible for implementing internal applications that promote efficiency throughout Force Motion and Control. The placement for the position is Tranås and you report directly to Director, IT Business Applications & ERP in US. This is on onsite role with potential for work from home/remote work.

Some of the core responsibilities:

• Oversee the operations and planning of the FMC’s ERP systems and related application technology
• Assess current enterprise applications and ERP solutions to design a future state and roadmap.

• Develop, lead, and direct ERP and enterprise application operations, planning and coordinate project execution.
• Plan, coordinate, and direct all activities related to the development and management of internal applications that enhance business operations and allow FMC to continuously improve.

• Drive process automation activities to support businesses using BI tools in support dashboarding and visual management of operations.
• Manage, train, and develop the technology team of 8 to inspire growth and innovative solutions.

Qualifications:

We're seeking a dynamic candidate with a proven track record in IT delivery, operations, and business processes, who can bring expertise in Master Data Management and integration technologies. If you have hands-on experience with cloud, hybrid, and on-premise application deployments, coupled with strong proficiency in database applications and data analytics, we want to hear from you.

Your ability to build relationships, inspire trust, coach and enthuse makes you a valued leader. Experience in a global, multinational IT environment is highly desirable, and familiarity with SOX auditing and other compliance frameworks will give you an edge. While a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is required, we also value experience in business operations as a potential substitute.
