SCM Manager 12 Months Contract

we are looking for a SCM Manager - Vikarie chef materialplanering .

As acting head of the department, you lead and develop a group of 11 people who ensure material availability in production, handle customs issues and transport/logistics issues.

Your areas of responsibility:

• The department handles daily cooperation and purchasing with suppliers, and is responsible for ensuring material availability in production by monitoring deliveries and identifying, managing and preventing material shortages.
• The department is also responsible for ensuring compliance with customs legislation linked to imports and exports as well as for the purchase of packaging materials, transport and external storage (as well as guarding the factory's interests in global transport agreements).

Your background:

• Previous managerial experience is advantageous
• Experience in purchasing or a related field with an interest in purchasing processes
• University education, preferably with a focus on purchasing, logistics, technology, economics or quality
• Good knowledge of Excel and basic understanding of SAP
• Results-oriented, analytical and with good communication skills
• Enjoys working in a global context, with business collaborations and negotiations with external suppliers
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English
