Automation Engineer

Role:
Operations Development is reinforcing the OT team with a PLC / MES specialist. In this role you will be an important member of a central development team with global responsibility. Your task will be development in close cooperation with suppliers manufacturing units and product development challenging existing concepts within manufacturing. Main responsibilities include:

• Develop verify and implement PLC/MES solutions in new as well as existing equipment
• Develop standardized solutions to be reused in coming implementations. Alfa Laval Operations

The position is based in Lund and you will report to an Operations Development Manager.

The role requires travels to site several weeks during the autumn.

Essential requirements:
You have a technical degree within Automation Electrical engineering or similar and a strong technical background. You have at least 57 years of relevant experience from manufacturing industries with a good understanding of system design automation technologies and commissioning of equipment.

PLC Beckhoff required.

PLC Rockwell and/or Siemens advantage

HMI Aveva advantage
