Radar Engineer

Do you want to help develop radar technology in a start-up innovative environment that
can play a central role in future autonomous vehicles?
Radar Reticence is looking for a system-oriented radar engineer who can contribute with both
technical depth and a broad system perspective. In this role, you will work with radar principles,
system architecture, signal processing, modelling, testing and technical design trade-offs. You do
not need to be the deepest specialist in every area, but you need to understand how antennas,
transmitters, receivers, signal processing, software and system requirements affect each other.
What you will work with
System architecture and technical design trade-offs for radar systems.
Breaking down operational needs into technical requirements.
Analysis of radar performance, interference, noise and signal integrity.
Modelling and simulation of radar systems.
Testing, verification and validation in lab and real-world environments.
Interpretation of measurement data from lab tests, vehicle tests and simulations.
Technical documentation, requirements management and structured engineering work.
Collaboration with experts in signal processing, firmware, RF and software.
We believe you have
Strong system understanding of complex technical systems.
Knowledge of radar principles, electromagnetics and wave propagation.
Understanding of the radar equation, target detection, Doppler processing and tracking.
Knowledge of signal processing, filtering and spectral analysis.
Experience with MATLAB, Simulink or Python.
Ability to work methodically with complex technical problems.
Good communication skills in cross-functional engineering teams.
It is a plus if you have experience with
Automotive radar.
ADAS or autonomous systems.
Sensor fusion.
Systems Engineering.
Requirements management, verification and validation.
Python, C/C++, Git and Linux.
Testing in lab environments or vehicles.
Required
Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
Able to make yourself understood in Swedish, both spoken and written.
Able to work from one of our offices in Linköping or Halmstad at least a few days per week.
