We are looking for a skilled Cloud Engineer to support the growth and evolution of our private cloud infrastructure built on OpenStack and Ceph.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, operating, and optimizing large-scale cloud infrastructure across compute, storage, and networking domains. You will play a key role in ensuring platform reliability, scalability, security, and operational efficiency while driving automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
You will collaborate closely with infrastructure, database, networking, and platform engineering teams, while also supporting software development teams in troubleshooting infrastructure-related issues and performance challenges.
We are seeking someone who is proactive, analytical, and passionate about building reliable infrastructure platforms through automation and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, manage, and optimize private cloud infrastructure based on OpenStack and Ceph
Maintain and improve cloud services related to compute, storage, networking, and virtualization
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across cloud infrastructure, storage platforms, and virtual networking environments
Improve infrastructure reliability and scalability through automation and infrastructure tooling
Support Ceph storage operations, performance optimization, and cluster reliability
Collaborate with cross-functional infrastructure and software teams to investigate platform issues and performance bottlenecks
Contribute to cloud architecture improvements and platform evolution initiatives
Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and system architecture documentation
Required Skills & Experience
Strong Linux administration experience within production environments
Hands-on experience with OpenStack and Ceph administration, operations, and troubleshooting
Experience with monitoring, observability, and infrastructure troubleshooting tools
Good understanding of virtualization technologies and virtual networking
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), GitOps, and configuration management tools
Strong understanding of networking fundamentals including routing, switching, and virtual networks
Experience working with automation tools and cloud infrastructure operations
Preferred Profile
Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
Experience working in large-scale cloud or distributed infrastructure environments
