Customer Implementation Lead - Publishing Technology
Roxen
Roxen develops software for automated print and publishing workflows used by newsrooms and media groups around the world. Our platform helps publishers streamline the production of newspapers, magazines and e-papers while maintaining editorial control, design flexibility and efficient day-to-day workflows. Our customers range from regional newspaper groups to large international media organizations operating complex multi-edition and multi-channel publishing environments. We are now looking for an experienced Customer Implementation Lead to support customer projects across the Americas.
About the role
As Customer Implementation Lead at Roxen, you will play a central role in our customer deliveries - from planning and onboarding to implementation and go-live.
You will work closely with customers, editorial teams and technical stakeholders to ensure that Roxen is integrated smoothly into existing workflows, systems and production environments. The role combines project leadership, customer dialogue and operational understanding of publishing workflows and technical integrations.
Our platform is part of the broader newsroom ecosystem, including CMS platforms, planning tools, advertising systems and other editorial or production-critical applications. Understanding how these environments work in practice is an important part of the role.
You will lead projects together with experienced colleagues internationally, while operating with a high degree of ownership and independence in your day-to-day work. The role is fully remote within American time zones and includes occasional travel to customers and team meetings.
Responsibilities
Lead implementation and onboarding projects for newsroom and publishing customers
Coordinate project activities across customers, technical specialists and external partners
Support integrations and workflow adaptations in customer environments
Drive project planning, communication and follow-up throughout the delivery process
Build strong working relationships with customer stakeholders, editorial teams and technical contacts
Contribute operational insights and customer feedback to ongoing product development
We believe you have
Experience leading or coordinating complex software, workflow or transformation projects in publishing, newsroom or media environments
A strong understanding of how editorial, production and technical teams work together in day-to-day operations
Experience working with publishing systems, CMS platforms, newsroom tools or workflow-oriented enterprise software
Familiarity with integrations between editorial, production and business-critical systems — from CMS and planning tools to advertising and revenue platforms
The ability to create structure, build trust and move projects forward across teams with different priorities and perspectives
Professional-level English communication skills; Spanish is a plus
You may come from a vendor, publisher or internal technology organization. What matters most is that you understand publishing environments and are able to navigate both technical and operational discussions.
Who you are
You enjoy taking ownership, working closely with customers and collaborating with colleagues across teams and time zones. You combine structure, technical curiosity and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
You enjoy environments where software, workflows and real-world production come together, and where long-term customer relationships matter.
