Solution Quality Lead (Consultant)

We are looking for an experienced Solution Quality Lead to drive and secure quality-related processes, governance, and ways of working within a connected software development organization.
In this role, you will lead quality initiatives across the organization, facilitate Operational Excellence meetings, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and ensure continuous improvement of development processes. You will collaborate with stakeholders across multiple functions, making strong communication, networking, and relationship-building essential for success.
You will also support the organization with risk analysis, FMEA activities, quality methodologies, and the deployment of standardized ways of working to improve delivery excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Lead quality-related initiatives across the organization.
Facilitate Operational Excellence meetings and drive follow-up of quality KPIs.
Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment on quality objectives.
Support risk assessments, FMEA activities, and other quality engineering methods.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and deployment of standardized ways of working.
Promote best practices in software quality assurance throughout the development lifecycle.
Support project teams with quality governance for both internally developed and supplier-delivered software.
Identify improvement opportunities and implement effective quality processes.
Present quality status, metrics, and recommendations to stakeholders and management.
Required Qualifications
Experience working with in-house product development.
Strong understanding of software development processes and software quality assurance.
Experience ensuring quality of both internally developed and supplier-delivered software.
Experience working within large-scale development programs involving software, hardware, and mechatronics.
Project management experience and familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and influence across organizational levels.
Confident presenter and facilitator with excellent communication skills.
Good understanding of cloud-based solutions, telematics, mobile applications, and embedded software development.
Solid understanding of the complete software development lifecycle, from concept through deployment and quality assurance.
Preferred Skills
Experience driving Operational Excellence initiatives.
Knowledge of risk management methodologies and FMEA.
Experience with continuous improvement frameworks and quality governance.
Ability to work independently while coordinating across multiple teams.
