We’re hiring a  Data Engineer to join a modern data function supporting the  Scandinavian business (Sweden + Norway) , while collaborating daily with a broader European data community. You’ll be close to the local stakeholders in  Gothenburg , but you’ll also have the scale, standards and peer group of an international setup.

Location: Gothenburg (hybrid / on-site approx. 50%)
Language: Fluent Swedish + fluent English (must-have)
Experience: 2+ years commercial (Master’s preferred)
Employment: Permanent

The work

• Build and maintain  data pipelines and  ETL/ELT processes that solve real business problems
• Improve  data quality, reliability, and availability (monitoring + sensible documentation)
• Work with local colleagues to translate business needs into scalable data solutions
• Partner with international peers on  platform, tooling, and solution design
• Opportunity to stretch beyond “pure DE” into adjacent analytics / data science tasks, depending on interest and capability

What you’ll bring

• Strong  Python +  SQL in a commercial environment
• Experience in a  cloud environment (ideally  Azure )
• Hands-on exposure to  orchestration (Airflow / ADF or similar) and modern data processing approaches (e.g.,  PySpark/Polars/Delta Lake or willingness to learn fast)
• A structured, quality-focused mindset (you care about clean pipelines, not just “getting it to run”)
• Excellent communication skills in  Swedish and English
