About the role

Do you seek the opportunity to work with innovative, multinational companies within high-tech, automotive and communication? At Gapwaves we design, manufacture and deliver mm-wave antennas and products based on our patented waveguide technology. As our Production Engineer, you will be working in our flexible production where we produce prototypes and low-volume products. You will also be involved in manufacturing process development.

You will work within Gapwaves’ Supply organization, being an integral contributor in Gapwaves journey to become a recognized supplier of waveguide antennas. Quite simply, you will be a key contributor to ensure that our products reach the global mass market.

Your main responsibilities:

• Product hand-over from RnD to production

• Production planning

• Low volume and prototype production runs

• Ensure that all products meet our high-quality standards

• Ownership and maintenance of production facilities and equipment

• Maintaining detailed and systematic records of production activities

• Production process knowledge sharing
  
  

We are looking for a person who…

• Focuses on constant improvements, getting results, embrace learning and brings positive energy

• Has a strong attention to detail and a systematic approach to work

• Has a track-record from production, preferably within electronics or automotive

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Basic understanding of antennas or RF-circuits is also highly merited, as well as relevant process experience within molding, metallization, metal sheet manufacturing, riveting or laser welding.
