Student Worker Compliance - Siemens Financial Services
Siemens is a global technology leader shaping the future of sustainable energy, intelligent infrastructure, and digital industries. Within Siemens Financial Services (SFS), we play a key role in enabling growth by providing tailored financing solutions to customers and partners across the Nordics and beyond.
We are now looking for a motivated and curious student to join our Compliance team. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a highly relevant and increasingly important field within financial services.
As a Student Worker, you will be an integral part of the Compliance function, supporting a wide range of activities such as internal processes, policy reviews, and day-to-day compliance operations. You will work closely with experienced professionals and gain valuable insight into how compliance enables business while managing risk in a global organization.
Our Compliance acts as Compliance Business Partners, a trusted advisor to the business and a key point of contact for compliance-related matters. This means you will gain exposure to a broad spectrum of topics, including:
- GDPR matters from a Nordic perspective, including work with the Compliance Data Platform (CDP) and Local Legal Assessments (LLA)
- Outsourcing and operational resilience (including DORA), supporting registers and related controls
- Export control and sanctions, helping to ensure compliance with international regulations
- Internal compliance processes and governance, such as supporting reviews and approvals
- Anti-money laundering (AML) activities, including support in regulatory reporting
- Global initiatives, such as coordination of compliance trainings across Siemens Financial Services
In this role, you will contribute through research, coordination, and documentation, while building a strong foundation in how compliance is applied in a real business context.
To succeed in this role, we believe you:
- Are currently enrolled in a law program, business law, or a related field, with at least one year of studies remaining
- Have a genuine interest in compliance, regulatory frameworks, or financial services
- Are curious about how AI and digital tools can support legal and compliance work
- Enjoy working in a structured and analytical way, with attention to detail
- Are proactive, eager to learn, and comfortable taking initiative
- Communicate professionally in both Swedish and English
- Bring a collaborative mindset and positive attitude
What we offer:
- A unique opportunity to gain practical experience in compliance within financial services
- A supportive and collaborative team with strong expertise and willingness to share knowledge
- A modern and flexible work environment with a high degree of responsibility
- Flexible working hours to combine work with your studies
- The possibility to work from our offices in Solna or Umeå, with some remote flexibility
- A chance to be part of a truly global organization and build a strong professional network
