Financial Data Analyst
Brocc
Brocc is a specialised financial institution embarking on a bold and transformative growth journey, fuelled by strong institutional backing and a clear strategic vision. Positioned at the forefront of the European credit market, Brocc combines deep heritage in consumer finance with cutting-edge technology, building a best-in-class credit platform that supports clients across the full credit lifecycle.
With substantial capital resources, an ambitious growth agenda, and a collaborative, entrepreneurial culture, Brocc is uniquely placed to shape the future of the credit ecosystem. As we scale across new markets and asset classes, accurate, transparent, and well-governed regulatory reporting is central to how we operate, and to how we earn the trust of regulators, investors, and partners.
We are now looking for Financial Data Analyst who wants to develop that infrastructure together with the Head of Regulatory Reporting.
What you’ll do
Brocc is building a world class reporting and data infrastructure, and that is the mission you'll be stepping into. You will become part of Brocc's Treasury function and work closely with the Head of Regulatory Reporting, in an organization where the foundation is in place but much is still to be developed. Today, large parts of the work are carried out by external consultants, and you will take on a key role in bringing that expertise in house and continuing to build a robust, data-driven and modern reporting function internally. In this role, you will work hands on with SQL and Python, follow the data all the way from source to finished reporting output, and gradually build an understanding of how credit portfolios, capital, liquidity and regulatory reporting fit together. The role offers the right candidate significant ownership and a clear development journey, where you get to help shape how the work is done, not just carry it out.
In this role, you will:
Own and develop parts of the infrastructure behind Brocc's data and regulatory reporting
Work hands-on with SQL and Python to build data flows, controls, automation and reports
Collaborate broadly with Finance, Treasury, Risk and Tech/Data Science
Who you are
The right candidate for this role is motivated by building rather than maintaining, and wants to be part of the engine room where data, technology and Finance meet. You have a few years of experience from an analytical and data driven role within a regulated business, with very strong skills in SQL and Python and a strong drive to keep developing and take on responsibility. You also hold an academic degree in, for example, mathematics, statistics or data science, and enjoy taking ownership, asking questions, and collaborating with both technical and financial specialists. Experience with regulatory reporting is not a requirement but is highly meriting.
