The position involves building long-term customer relationships together with a global sales team. Kvaser is the market leader in distributed systems with products and solutions in technology. Development of new systems and solutions takes place at the head office in Mölndal. We are experts in CAN and related bus protocols, we also collaborate strategically with other reputable technology companies.
As a technical sales representative for our European market, you will be based out of the head office in Mölndal. For many years, Kvaser has built up a very strong network with technical partners and dealers where your role is to further develop and establish long-term relationships based on knowledge and trust.
You will report directly to the company's global sales manager and work in close collaboration with the group's other sales representatives in the USA and Asia, even if your responsibility is to develop sales in Europe.
Your work tasks will consist of, for example:
- Meet and communicate with existing customers and dealers.
- Find new customers, technical partners and resellers.
- Strategic planning for future sales.
- Participation in events such as fairs and industry meetings
- Feedback internally in the organization regarding new applications, products and the like that are in demand on the market.
Your profile:
We are looking for you who have a master's degree in, for example, computer science or electrical engineering . We see that you have experience working close to technology with good knowledge of and experience in development work. We believe that today you work with sales in the electronics field or are a product owner, application engineer or equivalent and ready to take on a new challenge, where you can combine your technical interest with sales.
As a person, you are business-minded and work goal- and result-oriented, while you independently drive your work forward. Your ability to open doors and drive deals through is critical to success in the role. Likewise, your interest in technical solutions combined with your business acumen and your ability to understand and meet customer needs. As our sales cycles span several years, you are required to be patient and persistence in your work. As the role involves a lot of travel, it is important that you see travel as a positive element of the role.
The position requires very good ability to communicate in Swedish and English in speech and writing.
As a person, you are action-oriented, have a holistic view and are a good communicator. You have good collaboration skills and are good at creating and maintaining good relationships with both colleagues and customers. We attach great importance to your personal qualities and that you are a good representative and ambassador for Kvaser. You must master Swedish and English unhindered in both speech and writing, if you know a third language, that is also highly meritorious.
