Rust Engineer

We are currently looking for a skilled Rust Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Rust Developer at Grepit AB, you will play a key role in creating cutting-edge solutions and ensuring the high performance and responsiveness of our software applications.

Responsibilities:

• Rust Development: Design, build, and maintain efficient Rust code for server-side applications.
• Code Documentation: Ensure clarity and maintainability through thorough code documentation and reviews.
• Maintenance: Maintain and repair existing Rust code to ensure ongoing functionality.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated with Rust standards and incorporate best practices.
• Collaboration: Support front-end developers with integration and foster a cohesive development environment.
• Consultation: Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scopes and provide expert insights.

Requirements:

• Rust Expertise: Proven experience in coding, developing, and testing Rust programs, focusing on server-side logic.
• Version Control: Proficient in using Git for iterative development and team collaboration.
• Communication: Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with hardware and software engineers, contributing to code reviews and idea sharing.

Preferred Skills:

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• Additional Languages: Experience with embedded languages like C.
• Software Life Cycle: Strong understanding of the software development life cycle.
• Optimization: Proficient in debugging, profiling, and performance optimization.
• Programming Skills: Knowledge of Python, JavaScript, and HTML (AngularJS framework).
