Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer (Skövde) - Hybrid

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer to join our team at Belmont Lavan Ltd in Skövde. As an SQA Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products by working closely with our suppliers. Your responsibilities will include evaluating supplier quality systems, conducting supplier audits, performing supplier assessments, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supplier quality performance. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, combining remote work with on-site activities.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and assess supplier quality systems and processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and requirements
• Conduct supplier audits to assess supplier capabilities and identify areas for improvement
• Collaborate with suppliers to address quality issues and implement corrective actions
• Monitor supplier performance and track supplier quality metrics
• Drive supplier development initiatives to improve supplier quality performance
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues
• Provide guidance and support to suppliers regarding quality requirements and expectations
• Participate in supplier selection and qualification activities
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the supplier quality management system

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
• Experience in supplier quality assurance or supplier development roles
• Knowledge of quality management systems and standards
• Excellent understanding of supplier quality requirements and expectations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to conduct supplier audits and assessments
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Hybrid work arrangement capability, with a willingness to travel to supplier sites
