Data Analysis Scientist, Analytical Development

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Data Analysis Scientist to join the Analytical Development team at Olink in Uppsala. The role focuses on developing analytical tools for quality control and performing complex data analysis to identify critical parameters driving proteomics assay performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evaluate analytical tools and concepts for quality control methods
• Perform complex data analysis to identify parameters influencing assay performance
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams on proteomics R&D projects
• Trend data to support troubleshooting and improve QC metrics and limits
• Mentor colleagues and build team expertise in analytical development

Requirements

• PhD in life sciences, preferably bioinformatics
• Advanced proficiency in R for large dataset analysis
• Strong statistical analysis and technical problem-solving skills
• Experience developing analytical tools, Shiny apps, or data trending applications
• Laboratory experience in biochemistry, molecular biology, or analytical methods
• Leadership and mentoring experience with cross-functional teams
