Embedded Software Developer

Mission:
Contribute as a Software Developer to the next generation of telematics products and services (on-board). The main product is an information system in the embedded environment that communicates with vehicle systems and back-office systems. Product features include Fleet Management, Uptime services, and other connected services. The team works with an agile approach and continuously improves.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop embedded software in C++
• Work in Scrum teams and support team-driven development
• Contribute to software architecture and subsystem verification
• Participate in product features such as Fleet Management and Uptime services
• Handle tasks from the backlog and specialize in certain competence domains

Skills & Experience Required:

• Minimum of 10 years in embedded software development
• Proficiency in C++ (preferably C++20)
• Experience with Python
• Embedded Linux experience
• Automatic test development
• Master’s degree in electronics/computer engineering or equivalent
• Strong communication skills in English (both spoken and written)

Meriting Experience:

• Experience as a Scrum Master
• Experience working in agile teams
• Familiarity with Yocto
• Knowledge of software architecture
• Background in automotive or telecommunications
• Networking (security and routing) knowledge
• Experience with wireless connectivity
• Proficiency in Swedish (spoken and written)
