Senior Infrastructure & Data Test Engineer

Position: Infrastructure & Data & Test Engineer (Senior)

As a Infrastructure and Data Science Engineer, you will research, design, develop, simulate, and/or validate data, hardware, architecture, algorithms, and solutions that enables the development of cutting-edge technology.



Job Description, Data Collection Planner

• Accountable for optimized global DC plan (make and follow-up)
• For either large scale data collection (“bulk data”) OR specific test track verification (“use case recordings”)
• Synced with available test vehicles (with the right configuration)
• Synced with available Drivers (with the relevant experience)
• Available test tracks, equipment's etc (where applicable)
• Align requirements with stakeholders from development teams etc (Core, GT, DSF, App)
• Optimize the plan given all stakeholders requirements
• Follow-up of data distribution (e.g. number of streetlights, road types, rural road or city etc)



Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years of Infrastructure and Data Science Engineering or related work experience.
• 3+ years of experience working in a large matrixed organization.
• Experience in automotive and standards related to automotive (ISO26262 and/or ISO21434) is meritorious.



Level of Responsibility:

• Can work independently with minimal supervision, but also together in a team
• Decision-making may affect work beyond immediate work group.
• Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey complex information. May require negotiation, influence, tact, etc.
• Has a moderate amount of influence over key organizational decisions (e.g., is consulted by senior leadership to make key decisions).
• Tasks do not have defined steps; planning, problem-solving, and prioritization must occur to complete the tasks effectively.

Requirements

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, data engineering, or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Experience with database management systems (SQL, NoSQL).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation tasks.
• Experience in Agile methodology and test-driven development.
